How To Keep Date Day or Night Fresh

Let’s admit it... It’s very easy as parents to get caught up in the day to day life, family obligations, your careers, etc. then BOOM so much time has passed by AND you both looking at each other and wondering will there ever be time for just the two of you.

Well, I’m here to inform you, YES FRIENDS there can still be time for the two of you but it’s going to take INTENTIONALLY scheduling and creating that time. So today, we’re sharing one of our fun and fresh idea to keep your date day or night fresh.

Y’all need to create a ”Date Day/ Night Jar” and include three categories.

** It's important to continue dating once you're together so that you ca stay connected and continue to build your love for one another.

1. NO MONEY (Green)

2. SOME MONEY (Blue)

3. MORE MONEY (Red)

Yes, they’re color coordinated and we’re going to explain why. But first, let’s discuss what you need: a mason jar, colored popsicle sticks or 3 different colored permanent markers, ribbon, tape and an index card.

Next, the two of you have to decide on a variety of ideas for date day or night, utilizing the three categories from earlier (no money, some money, and more money). We suggest at least starting with 20 ideas then of course you can add to as they come to mind. Each partner can come up with three ideas per category then together y'all can come up wit two, which will then give y'all a total of 20 ideas to start your jar with.

Finally, write the idea/ place for the coordinated color based upon the price and add the popsicle sticks to the jar. The index card is used as a legend/ key and you will tape that on the front or you can get creative and do something different. Your ribbon enhances the look of the mason jar so put a cute little bow around it and place it some where in the bedroom.

Now y’all have a cute ”Date Day/ Night Jar” to pull and always add to when it’s time to spend quality time together. We hope y’all enjoy this mini project together, share with a friend and comment below one of your favorite date day/ night ideas. We're excited to see what y'all came up with.

Much love, Happy Valentine's Day! :)
